Blackford County Residents Promote
Montpelier, Indiana

The Passage of Knowledge Martial Arts Center held its first group promotion on Thursday evening.  Nineteen (19) Blackford County residents that have been training at the Martial Arts center successfully promoted to their next belt rank.

The group promotion included students from the different Martial Arts classes Passage of Knowledge Martial Arts offers.  The age range for the group was four (4) years of age to twenty seven (27) years of age.  Members of the promotion group were:

Tiger Cubs Class (ages 4-7) Austin Simpson, Alana Pettus, Kitana Klowetter, Cheyenne Simpson, and Tommie Stiles.
Kids Class
(ages 8-12) John Allen Lancaster, Aaron Boswell, Nicolas Farnum, Wyatt Moddox, Daniel Schriver, Kendra Wilson, Adrianna Lancaster, Allison Boswell, and Joel Neff
Teen/Adult Class
(ages 13 and up) Kylie Ball, Tyler Ingram, Jamie Fraser, Dwight Kinder, and Alex Barker

Those in the Tiger Cub’s Class successfully promoted to Jr. 9th KYU Yellow Stripe.  Those in the Kid’s Class successfully promoted to 9th KYU Yellow Belt.  Those in the Teen/Adult class also successfully promoted to 9th KYU Yellow Belt with the exception of Tyler Ingram.  Tyler successfully promoted from 8th KYU Orange Belt to 7th KYU Blue Belt.

The Promotion Board included:
Renshi Nick Berrier – Godan, Sensei Clay Christal – Shodan, Sensei Michael Simpson – Shodan, and Sam Crump - 5th KYU Purple Belt.

The Passage of knowledge Martial Arts Center would like to congratulate all of these students.  They all gave great effort, showed good spirit, and were respectful and courtesy!
